Who has not passed by an old tree and if the branches are low enough wanted to climb the tree and sit on its branches. As children any tree that could be climbed was climbed and some kids have even had bad experiences by getting stung by bees or pecked by crows. Even a simple tree house can become complex once the construction has started as the kids are going to take charge and throw their own ideas in. however a word of caution before starting a tree house make sure that the tree that there is no concrete or hard surface below the tree house. Then make sure that the tree is not termite infested and is safe. Also select the branches on which the tree house is too be built.

As long as one gets the right material and does a good building job a tree house can be a real treat for the kids. Of course once the kids grow up and the tree house looses its charm it may be invaded by birds or cats. But building a kids tree house and getting the pleasure of seeing them use it can be very satisfying. One can even install a swing under the tree house or have a slide which comes down from the tree house. One is only limited by their imagination in building a tree house and of course by the tree on which it will be constructed.
